Like, whole counties where dozens of people voted for Paul registering 0 votes for Paul.

Remember the GOP establishment hates Paul even more than we do (electorally, he's a threat to them, not us), and just want to bury his campaign and take his supporters and donors. So no big-name Repug would call for a recount.

Frankly it was the Paul supporters' complaints that gave this story traction, to me. It wasn't just arguments about this percentage in this county and that percentage in that county, but people saying "I know I voted for Paul but my country reported 0 Paul votes". Pretty hard to get around that, whether it means the scanners are not accurate (incompetence is usually the first suspect in a problem) or were tampered with; either way it's a big problem.
