franchises that hemorage money like blood from a severed limb. It's an unfair balance. There's no way other teams in the league can compete on a year to year basis. Thus team's owners are forced to make one big push in one year for a pennant and sell or dismantle the franchise the next year to recover their costs.

Call me bitter, but the bitterness just adds to the elation in seeing the Yankees lose. We will be seeing them soon enough. I can't wait.
