6. there is really nothing to be confused about
For my 1000th post I have to respond to your post. I am in the same boat as you, but I am not confused in any way. I am disappointed. I expected so much more from this man. I expected an African American to understand how gays continue to be persecuted in this country. I expected Senator Obama to understand that standing with agents of hate and intolerance of gays alienates more than just gays.

There are a lot of people over in GD who pounce on me every time I bring up the McClurkin BS and their viciousness has gotten as bad as the GOP hate-mongers.

Senator Obama needs to understand that by NOT denouncing the "gay-curer" he condones this thinking and sends a message to the independents he so desperately courts that he too considers homosexuality a choice, and a bad one at that. His appeal for bipartisanship guarantees he will work with the rabid right wing if he is elected. I dont want to work with these people. They have caused so much damage to the country and to the community WHY would anyone want to work with them. i want them defeated and marginalized politically.

If this man is elected, any chance of progressing equal rights for the GLBT community is gone. Any chance of repealing DADT is gone. Any chance of equality for me, you and those like us is gone.

I am not a Hillary supporter but I cannot get enthused by BOH. I am not confused, i am disappointed and sad that we have come so far but still have not made any progress

Peace:pals:
