There have been some ugly racist posts on DU accusing groups that went OTT...but reading your post which is so personal gives a whole different dimension.

We have to hope that this election means that as we go forward much can be changed for the better. I don't know what was going on in CA that rights given could be taken away this month in one of our most liberal states. But, we have to hope it was some temporary insanity that will pass.
