notes:

I've only used Symlink, but it works like a top.

If you've never done anything like this before, it can be a bit tricky to understand what's going on...

Lastly, unlike Linux, NTFS does NOT support linking over the network, only local drives (those connected directly to the computer) - but that is exactly what you're looking to do...
