You were very lucky to have a vet willing to perform this procedure. With Molly, we had no advanced warning. One day, we took her out, she sat down and that was it. The disease spread so rapidly, that by the time we got her to the hospital, she was too far gone. They suggested putting her down, but that was NOT an option. She just barely survived the surgery and was hospitalized 6 days. It was heartbreaking for us.

A 22 year old doxie - wow! I could only hope . . . Molly and her kitty brother and sister, Moe and Maggie are our children. They are the lights of our lives.

Please let us know the latest on Tippy. I have been thinking about him since you posted. That face of his got me!
