Let's discuss how we "talk" to our animals using our psychic gifts.

I've been running a communication experiment with my cats using telepathy. Last night I had an incident that even jolted me and I'm a believer! But first let me tell you a bit about why I decided to play around with this.

Last year about this time, my brother was visiting me. He, too, is a cat lover and we were watching my two kitties sitting quietly together. My brother remarked that when they sit there together like that, he believed they were having a "conversation." He said he didn't know how they did it but that's what they were doing.

That thought never left me. Of course it occurred to me that they were using telepathy to communicate with each other.

Soon I started noticing there was communication between my two cats about certain things, mostly territorial issues. My cats trade off territory. It is amazing how, when they do it, one is at the door and the other is on her way out to go patrol the "territory." One being at the door while the other is waiting to go out has happened to many times and too consistently for it to be just chance.

One week they decided they would sleep with each other on the LR couches instead of one of them on the bed with us and the other in the study. However, one evening, one settled in with me in the office instead of going to the couch. Only five minutes later, the other one came in and smacked her about the ears. She appeared to be saying something like, "You're supposed to be sleeping with me!" The errant kitty quickly hopped off the couch in the study and went to where she was supposed to be sleeping.

I have been practicing calling them by telepathy. It works a lot of the time but sometimes it doesn't (I would say 75% of the time it works). Last night I fell asleep in my computer chair by the window. The kitties hop up on the window box to let me know they want in.

Anyway, as I was saying, I had fallen asleep and awakened enough to know I wanted to sleep in a bed and not a chair. Uh oh--can't go to bed--a kitty is still outside. So I visualized myself as a vacuum cleaner, sucking up any kitties who were outside. I visualized the hose of the cleaner going out the window. Whoosh! A kitty jumped up on the windowbox. You should have seen her! Her ears were back and so were her whiskers! It was like she was being sucked in the giant vacuum cleaner!
