Although I read widely from all religions and spiritual movements even many of the more out there ones, no one individual or group can really give you spiritual enlightment. It has to come from you and the individual path you take to acheive one with the Divine. Everything offered are just ingredients in the final recipe that you will mix for your own personal spiritual journey.

It looks like the Maharishi did you no harm and that he actually guided you on the path you would eventually take on your own.
