1. The easiest way to see - is to go to johnkerry.com
The main page has 3 excellent interviews Kerry did on Monday. Lokking back over "news" and the "blog" there are likely the easiest way to see what happened.

An executive summary is:
1) Kerry gave about a 1/2 speech detailing the situation in Iraq now and in the last 5 minutes announced that he would not run. His reason was that there are important things that need to be done now on Iraq and on global warming and he would work in the Seante instead. He said he will run for re-election in MA.
2) Kerry gave testimony on global warming to Boxer's committee and in the Commerce committee, he also gave a brilliant statement and he did a stunning job questioning a Bush person - who made the mistake of responding at one point that their goals were the same as his. (I think the committees still have archived video)
3) The Kerrys will be statring some appearance for their book soon.
4) Chris Heinz got married.
