Incoming Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry is reaping the fallout of the John Dingell-Henry Waxman war in the House, scooping up Dingell's former Commerce communications director Jodi Seth as his personal CD.

Seth used to work in the Senate, with stints on staff with Jack Reed and Bob Torricelli.

Kerry is also moving his main foreign policy maven, Frank Lowenstein, over to the committee as chief counsel. Lowenstein, a Yale alum, joined Kerry's personal staff three years ago after serving as national security policy director for the Kerry-Edwards campaign in '04.
