Kerry is a lot of things: Lucid, articulate, brilliant, insightful, knowledgeable, polite, well-mannered - he is probably the least unhinged person in the world.

Now, Bush - unhinged may be the kindest word to use. He sounds weird whenever he speaks, he frequently bruises his face, he makes funny faces.
Sen. Stevens - unhinged (Kerry didn't wear a Hulk tie - how much negative news would HE have gotten? ) and ranting and raving.

This is cool that they are so upset that Kerry won't go away or shut up. The funny thing is unhinged is so counter to his image that it can't work. If speaking in clear concise sentences saying things that are obviously truth and proposing sensible plans is unhinged, I think a lot of us would love to be as unhinged as Kerry.
