In light of Cardinal Law's comments on their abortion votes, I really don't think they had any special leverage as Catholics in using their persuasiveness to get the church to change its policies. Shouldn't Santorum be blaming Cardinal Law or those higher in the church who took him out of Boston.

As the Senators had no role in the MA judicial system - which DID bring charges and they had no special relationship to get the Cardinal to change policy, what exactly did Santorum want the Senators to do. (and what did HE do in PA when their were charges.)

Now that he has in effect accused Kerry of ignoring pedophelia - I wonder if John will agree that Teresa was right and concede Santorum hasn't changed.
