33. Hmmm...so the sale would be illegal
but I bet they could still be given away for free as "promotional merchandise." For example, buy a "Welcome to SC" postcard for $15.99 and the store will throw in a free dildo. I'd love to see gas stations advertise free giveaways with every 5th tank fill-up or whatever. Put it right out there on the billboard for everyone to see.

From the article, "Other states that ban the sell of sex toys include Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Texas." Good gawd, don't the people in these states have more important things to worry about? And Rep. Davenport wants to make the sale of sex toys a felony? A friggin' FELONY? Isn't that a rather, um, stiff punishment (yeah, pun intended) for such a minor thing? I bet Rep. Davenport is just mad that his wifey prefers her sex toy to him. If this bill passes, I hope she throws out all her sex toys and finds herself some nice 19-year-old stud as a replacement. It would serve Rep. Davenport right.

That said, I'd still love to hear the arguments in the legislature on this bill. Wish I could be there to laugh my ass off at all the insecure idiots that somehow feel their "manliness" is threatened by an inanimate object.
