Have you heard that one?

Here's an idea.

Get a piece of paper. You know, the kind they had in ancient egypt.

And a pencil or maybe a pen, but hey, it's a third world economy, so use a pencil. That's OK.

Whoever is giving the money out, put his name on the top of the piece of paper. Have him sign it.

Have I lost you in your "third world" accounting yet?

On the paper, write a name, a date, and an amount. Have the person getting the money, "mark" (I know that they don't know how to write in these 3rd world countries) next to their name and the money they're receiving.

Then, we can go back and track down two or three of these names and ask them if they got their money, or maybe just compare their signatures...

If it doesn't foot, start asking tough questions to the guy whose name appears on the top...

You know, having studied accounting BEFORE PERSONAL COMPUTERS, this bullshit "excuse" really pissed me off...
