18. It doesn't matter.
He will do as he has done to date; he will do as he pleases then assert his "rights" as a "war time president" to do as he pleases.

The repub party will fall in lock-step behind whatever he does as right for the safety of the u.s. and amerika, the media will promote the repub party talking points and the dems will be "nice guys and gals" and fall in line with the "safe from terrorism" and "spreading democracy" themes so as not to look "weak" to their constituants and those in the "middle." War profiteers will continue to profit. Young and old men and women will die. There will be much flag waving (american flags only, please) and "we the people" will once again be left to wonder what happened to "the land of the free and the home of the brave." There will be protests in the streets and many people will be arrested as "enemies of the state." There will be more "mentally ill" accused of threatening the "president's life" and warehoused in some "safe" place so as to keep "us" safe from "them."

I often wonder these days, is this how the german people felt when they finally realized what the nazis were doing?
