3. At the very minimum: LIHOP.
My blood boils every time I think of Ashcroft's decision not to fly commercial airlines in July 2001. I was tooling around in my MD-80, while almost daily security threats were passed on to the airlines by the FAA. Vague, non-specific, but frequent threats that hinted at a possibility of several garden-variety hijackings.

When Ashcroft's decision to avoid the airlines was made public, I went to a personal high-security level. I briefed my crews that something was not right. My crews were put on RED ALERT by me. As Mr. Bu$h vacationed at the pig farm, I nervously flew my trips in the face of that oh-so-strange threat (outed by Ashcroft's decision).

When 9/11 came down, I knew. BINGO! The motherfuckers knew all summer. They knew and either LIHOP or MIHOP. May the motherfuckers burn in the hottest ovens of hell. I lost a good friend in the Pentagon crash (an American Airlines flight attendant). To those bastards that let 9/11 happen I say I WILL NEVER FORGET.

Mac
