IBM Daksh Opens Three New Business Transformation Outsourcing delivery centres in India


India, December 12, 2005 - IBM Daksh today opened three new Business Transformation Outsourcing (BTO) delivery centres in India, significantly expanding IBM's BTO delivery capability to meet the growing domestic and international demand for BTO services. These centres are located in Pune, Chandigarh and Kolkata with a current seating capacity of 2,100 seats across the three centres.

The centres are part of IBM Daksh's delivery network of 10 centres located in India and IBM's global services delivery network of more than two dozen centres. These centres deliver the scale and expertise necessary to operate and continuously improve a range of business processes to create long-term business value for IBM's BTO clients. IBM's BTO solutions span from straight business process delivery work to high-value transformational outsourcing projects.

The new centers will provide customer care outsourcing services to domestic and international clients utilizing IBM's proven management and technology systems, industry expertise, global delivery excellence and deep understanding of the Indian market.
