(I)n the midst of international opposition to a pre-emptive strike on Tehran, and Britain's military commitments around the world, the government maintains it cannot contribute to a military assault. "We will support the diplomatic moves, at best," a Foreign Office source told Scotland on Sunday.

At best? That sounds to me like the Brits may not even support Security Council sanctions against Iran.

"At best" had better be an indication that only legal behavior and absolute respect for the sovereignty of other Nations and the dignity of each person's life will be tolerated.

We need serious dial-back to some form of reason and dialogue.

It is mega-lunacy to consider the use of even one nuclear device, anywhere on this planet.
