I'm scared and very very very angry. [View All]

The administration scares the crap out of me, wondering what they will pull next, how this may directly affect me and mine as well as the greater world. Bird flu? A concern but not a worry. Disaster preparedness? I expect nothing from the administration, and will probably get about that. Iran and nuclear weapons, whether small or large, "tactical" or KBOOOOM! scares the crap out of me. I grew up during the cold war, with the threat of nuclear war hanging over my head because of some stupid malfunctioning something ("oh dear, I thought we were getting attacked. oops") DrStrangelove sort of stuff and I fear so much what these madmen (bush etc) are capable of doing.

I am very very very angry at what they have done so far and the fact that now I have to be afraid again. I must watch myself with my family, to not let that fear influence how I interact with them, and I must watch myself to be more patient than usual with everyone else because many of them are equally scared and acting out their fears. I am seeing these behaviors here on DU the last couple days more and more and am trying to not reply snarkily, to let stuff go and move on and hope that things settle down soon.

I also hope Mr.bush and his evil minions suffer some sort of repercussion for what they have brought to the world.
