Local Soldier Killed In Explosion In Iraq

http://kdka.com/topstories/local_story_043151036.html

This young man was a graduate of the district in which my husband and I teach. I didn't know him, but I knew his sister well. She is an absolute sweetheart and my heart aches for the entire family. Today at our faculty meeting, our principal, who used to be his football coach, broke down in tears.

For the last 2 weeks, ending this Friday, I have been collecting Silly String to send to our troops to help them locate invisible trip wires on bombs. This tragedy will undoubtedly motivate many to make additional donations :(.

FUGWB!! I sincerely hate you with all my heart! I'll probably get called on it, but I walked out of the meeting and said "that son of a bitch" before I noticed there were students in the vicinity.
