Pile up an enormous stack of nonsense, bullshit, and innuendo. Doesn't matter if any of it's connected to anything else, it can be stove-piped in later. Now, throw the whole gargantuan mess at the wall and see what sticks; that is, what do people notice? Did they notice, in this example, that you mentioned explosively formed penetrators? Okay, the reporter is a step ahead, and notices that that particular quote isn't there. Back up a step. Maybe it wasn't explosively formed penetrators; how about weapons? You have to admit there are weapons in Iraq, right? Well, yeah, of course. Okay, see? If there are weapons in Iraq, and it can not be definitively disproved that every weapon in Iraq did not come from Iran, then there's a possibility that there are Iranian weapons in Iraq. No doubt about that, correct? Therefore, we must go to war with Iran, Q.E.D.
