This clown was elevated to superman status because of 911. Just think about what he did on that day. From what I could see, he directed traffic in the streets of lower Manhattan during a time of terror and confusion. From the why he was lauded by the press you'd think he bayoneted an entire army of terrorists with one arm tied behind his back. Of course it was a better performance than chuckle-nuts the circus chimp with his paralysis at the My Pet Goat reading.
