13. I had my daughter check on an elderly relative today

after hearing about this story. "John" had not returned calls or emails for a few weeks.

He told my daughter that he preferred to be alone and contact people only as he wished.

I also know many people care for their parents by having the monthly bills sent to the children, not the parents.

Just a few possibilities.
