That's right, I'm asking for you to help me break the law. I've come to the realization that we need more civil disobedience in this country in order to end the war in Iraq and break Bush's march towards fascism, and I would like to put my money where my mouth is. There are a couple hurdles though:

  1. While I've been in a few small anti-war protests, I've never done civil disobedience before, and I need to learn the ropes, learn what to do when arrested, how to avoid the worst pitfalls, etc.

  2. I live in Colorado, which isn't really what I'd call the center of American political discourse. I have yet to see any of the really big demonstrations such as the anti-war rallies bringing in hundreds of thousands to the Mall in Washington DC last month. There's precious few of us that even participate in legal roadside protests, much less engage in anything likely to result in arrests.

Where do I get started? Where do I go to get involved?
