Of course maybe the country club types won't understand what song is about but my guess is the Huckster is perfectly aware of the meaning of the lyrics.

How better to needle a guy who once famously said that his son's helping him on the campaign trail was equivalent to military service in Iraq.

"Fortunate Son" indeed.
