14. Frankly, I cannot see how any significant investigation can happen until a Democrat is elected.

While I'm less concerned with election fraud this time around, I cannot see Cheney/Bush and Friends simply giving up the White House in January of '09. Simply put, they are all in. We are talking serious, capital crimes-level treason here. Surely, a methodical investigation of this intra-national crime organization, 30+ years in the making, will overwhelm us with evidence of their treasonous crimes. How do they avoid this? The only viable option for them is to trigger another 9/11 or get us into a hot war with Iran before the next election. That would provide the pretext to declare martial law and start the process of retooling the government to deliver them the permanent control they need to survive.

Since impeachment is off the table now (and there has to be a story here that we, the public, are not privvy to), we need to start organizing and demanding that the next Democratic administration hold these criminals accountable. Nothing else should happen until this is addressed. Extreme measures are required. Otherwise, like a cancer in remission, this will come back with a vengeance, at the 1st moment of opportunity. I really felt John Kerry had the stones to make this happen, but I'm not holding out much hope that Barrack Obama and his message of reconciliation will push this investigation.
