6. get ready for election loonies - part two
this is where the Greenies emerge and start telling us to vote for their candidate

and then the flame wars start about 3rd party candidate steals votes from 'x'

I've been voting in presidential elections for over 30 years - starting with the Carter-Ford matchup.

It wasn't until 2000, that I actually voted for one of the major party candidates - Gore, not because I liked Gore, but because smirk-boy scared the crap out of me. (up until then I've voted for Nader, or any other 3rd party candidate as my way of saying NONE OF THE ABOVE)

in 2004 - I voted for Kerry, not because I was enthralled by Kerry, but because smirk-boy had to go.

It's now 2008 - smirk-boy will be gone shortly after November 7. I'm not thrilled, enthralled, nor impressed with any of the dems. So once again my vote in november won't be FOR the Dem candidate it will be AGAINST the republic one.

let me make one more observation - doesn't matter who gets elected in November - they will also need a congress who are willing to work with them - not in a rubberstamp manner, but a congress that is able to roll up their sleeves and take their job seriously.
