"jlieberman spent a lot of effort convincing the people of Connecticut that he was a good Democrat on every issue except the war ("don't mention the War!"). So how does he fit in with the Republicans? Other than his pro-Iraq war stance, which is a declining position in the Republican caucus, he theoretically disagrees with them on just about everything. I know Republicans are fairly desperate now, but they don't need leiberman to tie up the Senate, and should be appalled at the notion of accepting him into their party."
