15. If we have another Clinton WH and hope for a different outcome, we will be fooled again.
I have lost a great deal of respect for President Clinton over the past few weeks, and it pains me to say that.

For the good things that we saw during the 90's such as the surplus budget and less unemployment, we also lost numerous House and Senate seats, control of the House, saw the rise of NAFTA that has and is still bleeding our jobs away from Americans; we saw the ugly effects of continued deregulation, outsourcing, and watched as the Telecommunication Act of 1996 allowed further media consolidation and corporate control of news content.

Mr. Clinton was in a position to allow the public to learn of the investigations of the many crimes committed during the Reagan-Bush years, yet chose to look away from them in 1993, saying that he wanted to look ahead to his own agenda and would leave the elder Bush to live with his conscience in his later years. And all of this set us up for the utter debacle in which we find ourselves in 2008, with the same people destroying our form of government and enraging the world against us.

And when we are treated to Clinton and George HW Bush as best buddies now, both with many questionable ties to lucrative mining deals in unstable countries for example, it tarnishes our memories of his years in office. Add to that his barbed attacks on an honorable man who is now running for president, who is older than Clinton was when he first ran for the presidency in 1992, and it is distressing to watch.

No, Mr. Clinton. The only "roll of the dice" will be if you move back into our White House, because it will be a return to the old tired battles of the past at a deeply crucial time when the window of opportunity is closing to set our country on a better path, at long last, led by a true progressive voice of the people.

It's time for you to go home.
