Edit added: Note that the most recent Sy Hersh article points out the strategic vulnerability posed by the narrow Strait of Hormuz, an issue I cited yesterday in this thread: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=389&topic_id=279656
