Anybody watching Frontline "Rules of Engagement"?

About the events in Haditha. What struck me is that they used unsworn statements at the hearing. I assume that means they could lie without penalty? But I am horrified by the fact that they chased after and killed kids, especially. The Iraqis were not allowed to be part of the investigation and of course their accounts differed considerably. What an ugly business all around. I am not inclined to believe "our" side at all. I am watching this because I do not know if this is simply a knee-jerk reaction on my part.

Of course it's an illegal war anyway and far too many people have died at our hands. As far as I am concerned it is all a war crime.
