Recently Helen Thomas was interviewed by Wonkette's Lauren Selsky and was asked about why she resigned from her position with the UPI wire service in 2000 after 57 years of employment. I have the transcript on my Sun Myung Moon blog (the post also includes a hilarious clip from 2000 of Jon Stewart on The Daily Show discussing the flap).
