Over the weekend, as some of you may know, I posted to appeal for us to help out a friend, Canadian author, Jules Carlylse who wrote the fabulous book, 'DUMBASS'. I just wanted to thank everyone for the response. She is very grateful, as am I. It's a tough world out there and the people who are able to look past their own problems and come together to help perfect strangers are the ones who truly make a difference in this world. DU, you are those people and you inspire me. Thank you so much!
What is truly sad is apparently my post ended up on a conservative version of this site (which I was not even aware of) and they said some pretty horrible things about her, I don't know how she found it, maybe, some vile person sent it to her. I was afraid to ask. Anyway, it hurt her, and I just hope our outpouring of positive overcame their nasty negative. Thank you again for being the people you are.
