I do think those rumors are true. The idea here is to get the "love" from FL. Not the running mate, though--unless he's an anti-Castro Cuban who somehow has magical crossover appeal to the Mexican and Puerto Rican and other Hispanic voting blocs.

Maybe Crist wants to be an Ambassador--why not? Great job, your assistant does all the hard work, and there are countries where being gay doesn't matter! After all, Bush's gay college roommate got a swell ambassadorship from George....why not McCain doing the same for his political pal?
