SF newspaper talking about 5 million people being involved at some level in the training this week.

I am not saying that I trust the guys with power to order the guys with the guns to knock down my door.
I find it real hard to understand why we can have years of national training and still let American citizens drown in hurricanes in La. and Texas.

edit to add:

How can you have a joint American/ Canadian exercise "within the maritime, aerospace, ballistic missile defense, cyber, consequence management, strategic communications, and counter terrorism domains,, AND a plan to use nuclear weapons in a surprise attack."

but then say

"We anticipate little to no direct impact on local communities." :wtf:
