28. Well, you know, sometimes the sentencing just doesn't go quite far enough.
Michael Vick got a mere slap on the wrist for what I'd consider to be some horrifyingly brutal behaviour. Personally, I'd like to see the pillory brought back for certain offences. The Enron guys should have had time in the pillory added to their sentences, so that people who'd lost everything would be able to publicly pelt them with mud, garbage, and excreta in the town square. A dose of humiliation can definitely do certain people a world of good. Prison rape is a particularly poignant form of humiliation. During his daily ploughing, Vick might as well just close his eyes and think of -- well, maybe not England, but he could ponder the dogs he tortured to death. Unless that just gives him a chubby, of course...
