I wish he wouldn't have continued this "American cars are inferior" BS. It's UNTRUE and distracted from his message. After I listened to him on Keith's show, I believe he has some great points. When I read this letter eariler today, I was more focused on the this dig at the US products.

Since it's cheaper to buy the companies, maybe we should and then create a "Manhattan Project" for green vehicles. We could also, as Michael stated, have the auto companies build mass transit vehicles. This would save jobs, save money, and prevent the complete collapse of the auto companies which would led to a deep recession (and depression in some state like MI). I don't have much hope of this (or anything else) happening, even after Obama take office.
