9. Funny you mention a pig farm...
When I was working for a private club in Dallas, I did a catered event in that neighborhood. I was not involved in politics back then, so I didn't know any of the attendees, but it was a fundraiser for some local Republican politician. anyway, the guy who hosted the event had a pig for a pet. I am not talking about a miniature pot-bellied pig, but a full-sized BIG PIG! It lived inside the house and was house-trained. This guy had thousand dollar vases sitting on little stands on the floor, and so many expensive pieces of decor, and a big-ass pig walking through the living room as guests in top of the line suits drank martinis. It was rather surreal.

At one point, one of the geezers said to his fellow geezer, as they both looked out the floor-to-ceiling windows, framing the lush landscaping and trees, "Aren't we lucky to live in a forest?" I thought to myself, "Forest? You fucking moran! You live in a CITY, in a rich enough neighborhood that they actually kept the trees and planted more instead of just razing the whole damn block like they usually do."
