Prepare yourself for four or eight years of insane wingnut attacks on Obama's actions, ancestry, color, his "uppity wife," his "using a dog for his kids as a prop," and every other attack imaginable, or even -- at this point -- unimaginable.

Barack Obama is a threat to each and every American power center that has developed over the past 30 years. And if you need a definition of that, it's the Republican Party, the DLC, rednecks who play banjos and vote, Rupert Murdoch, and ... well, name it. Those who hold power will not let go because some guy who "doesn't know his place," managed to "con enough people to vote for him."

We have a duty to fight this hatred. We have a duty to stand up to it every time we are personally confronted with it. We have a duty to try to reinstate some semblance of civilization into what I sarcastically call "American civilization."

Our voices have not been heard for the past eight years. And if the truth be known, our voices have probably not been heard since January 20th, 1981, the day that Saint Ronnie began the destruction of our country on a vast scale.

Use the most powerful weapon you have. Speak out. Loudly and vehemently.
