7. Tent it!

If you really want to get a feel for the park, there are many beautiful back-country campsites which allow you to get away from the crowds a bit. Of course, all have canisters to put food in etc. to keep hungry bears from sharing your dinner.

Even for most camping spots, reservations are required.

YSNP is an amazing geographic gem, but the people factor can be overwhelming at times, unless you are a little ways off the beaten path.
