9. Here's a few tips on Yellowstone
Yellowstone is a very big park. If you stay on one side of the park and plan on seeing everything, you will spend most of your time driving. It's best to either pick a spot that's centralized, or plan on moving as you work your way through. All of the major lodges are incredible, if you're into lodges. Personally I spend all my waking moments somewhere else, so I'm always just looking for a bed and a shower, and getting out as cheaply as possible.

Don't plan on seeing all the major attractions. There are just too many of them. If you try and see them all, they will become redundant and/or you won't spend enough time to do them justice. Buy a good book on Yellowstone with lots of pictures, and see a few attractions that interest you the most. Save the rest for future trips.

If you want to see bison, bears, or wolves, do your homework on where are the best places to find them. They move around with the different seasons so some places are better than others at different times of the year.

If you have lots of time, make day trips to the Grand Tetons and/or Glacier. Glacier is a pretty good ways to the north, but it's my personal favorite for hiking. The lakes there are stunning. There aren't as many people. The Kayaking is incredible, especially in the finger lakes on the north west side of the park.

Have fun.
