I'd never heard of either model until just now, but if such a vehicle were available on the US market, I'd seriously consider buying one. I think Ford and GM are making a huge mistake by not marketing these models here.

And on a similar note, whatever happened to the VW pickup that was sort of Rabbit-like?

Could a new version of that ever show up on these shores?
