Tom DeLay admits that he regularly cheated on his wife both as a Texan legislator in the 1970s and as a lawmaker in Washington in the 1980s. During this period he earned the nickname, 'Hot Tub Tom'.

DeLay was admonished 3 times by the House Ethics Committee. He is currently under 3 indictments from 2 Texas grand juries for criminal conspiracy, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. As a result, DeLay was forced to step down from his House leadership position in accordance with Republican House rules he had unsuccessfully tried to change.

DeLay resigned from Congress after plea deals from disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff and former DeLay staffer Tony Rudy.

Newt Gingrich served divorce papers on his first wife, Jackie Battley, while she was recovering in a hospital from cancer surgery. Four months after the divorce Gingrich married his second wife, Marianne.

Then along came three. Gingrich, who frequently campaigned on family values issues, divorced his second wife in 2000 after his attorneys acknowledged Gingrich's relationship with his current wife, Callista Bisek, a former congressional aide more than 20 years younger than he is.
