I agree with you.

there's a large part of the american people who just simply do not want to come out of the 19th century.
clinging to guns, religion etc. lol
obama and democrats are trying to bring us into the 21rst century and so far doing an amazing job in short period of time after inheriting a major clusterfuck from his predecessor.

I love obama's calmness about it all. he leads by example. the more crazy people get against him the more calm and forgiving he is (at least in public) but then he's out there doing stuff, working toward goal of bring this big complicated country to a more perfect union.
i fear for his life.
