That Michigan was severely fucked up by Engler to begin with and a devastating budget crisis was left for the next governor to clean up. Then the economy tanked and the auto industry fell apart more so. This left a calamity of epic proportions for the state economically speaking. Under these circumstances, we needed a rock star governor to solve the problems. I think she is an adequate governor, but the times called for something more. I think she would be a good choice for the supreme court, but we still need a lot more in Michigan now, cause it really is not getting better yet.
