In any other universe if the Supreme Court hijacked democracy in 2000 and then perpetrated a judicial coup by replacing the will of the people with a ruling saying corporations are people and can buy elections, which is morally TREASON, an END TO DEMOCRACY AS WE KNOW IT, the Democratic Party would IMPEACH HALF THE SUPREME COURT. You know that if the GOP controlled the White House, Congress and Senate and a Democratic-appointed Supreme Court perpetrated a judicial coup, that Republicans would impeach them without batting an eyelash and they would be railing that the Supreme Court is EVIL.

Of course, we Democrats don't do that because we have to uphold the rule of law blah blah even though under the present Supreme Court there IS no rule of law.

And if we had a GOP president and Democrats told as many lies about him as the GOP is now doing, he'd sue them all for LIBEL. The GOP tells A roaring Niagra Falls of lies because NOBODY SUES THEM and we WON'T because the Democratic Party is full of shameless COWARDS.

This party is led by DLC-style wimps and nerds like Rahm Emanuel who think that absolutely EVERYTHING depends on moving right and they have no faith whatever in the power of our ideas. They are all WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS, WIMPS and cowards constantly bringing a knife to a gunfight. They are afraid to pound the podium and rail against injustice as if a sign of a pulse might somehow be EMBARRASSING.

I am not ashamed to admit it. I do not understand the Democratic Party. I am at a loss to understand a party so brilliant in building the safety net under FDR, so brave in storming the beaches of Normandy in WWII, so enterprising and imaginative in landing a man on the moon, AND SO INCREDIBLY WEAK AND STUPID WHEN IT COMES TO SAVING OURSELVES.

This party canned Howard Dean because the replacement was a "nice-nice" wimpy guy who was CENTRIST and could get along with people in a collegial way. Since when did the GOP ever act collegial? We think that if we are nice to them they'll be nice to us yet they bring guns to their rallies and tell so many lies nice-nice can't keep up with it. WE CONSTANTLY UNILATERALLY DISARM. We constantly try to tell everyone that we're all the same, that there's no difference between us and the Republicans, that we're regular guys like everyone and there is no difference between us and the Republicans. Inevitably we are always half-successful. We are convinced but everyone else is not and they continue to call us socialists no matter how far we move to the right. And we never have the guts to call them anything.

Have you checked the polls lately? Despite all the nice-nice, Obama's approval is down to 49% and Democrats on Capitol Hill are in the toilet in the latest polls. Because THEY DO NOT FIGHT. How's THAT workin' for ya? Because this party insists on bringing a knife to a gunfight it is doomed, a ship of fools.
