But most of those bands aren't high profile enough to make a damn bit of difference to local promoters. There are significant acts that draw regularly here that are boycotting (Pitbull, Rise Against, Gogol Bordello) but for most of those bands it is just an easy way to get their name in print. In ten years of covering music in Phoenix, I've never seen Jesus Chainsaw Massacre or Los Faggots (both actual bands boycotting the state) on a concert bill.
