and Vogue and who I know is jealous, threatened, and uncomfortable when people have a serous discussion about ANYTHING, mentioned to me ( the loudest Democrat in the family) that she LOVES Sarah Palin's new show.

I replied( this was on Thanksgiving): "Really? Have you watched both shows shown so far?"

She answered smugly" Oh yes, she's great"

Me in retort, "According to what I've read, her second episode lost 40% of viewers from the week before and the ones remaining are from the worst demographic group any sponsor could want"

Her reply? Open mouth gaping.

I walked away.

At the table, while at dinner she looked at me and said - "I don't care what anyone thinks, I like Sarah Palin"

Me, fed up with my sister-in law's ignorance on every important matter of the day going back the 22 years she's been married to my brother looked right at her and said : "I really wonder when ignorance became a virtue, because that's what I think she is:ignorant. She is ignorant about vitally important issues that matter to this country....I really think that's what bothers me the most about her ~her ignorance."

Conversation stopper.

I will not coddle tea bag leaning idiots anymore, even if they are in my family.
