If you are dependent upon your unemployment benefits, then you probably look at the taxcut bill a little different than someone who has a job or a steady income flow.

If you are very wealthy and are looking to pass on your billions of dollars to your worthless bloodline, then you are probably very interested in the debate over the estate tax in the tax bill. Who says you can't take it with you?

If you are making $25,000 per year, you may support the taxcut bill because you need that $8-$10 per week. That is real money to you. However, you will be disappointed if you have to pay it back at tax time.

If the taxcut means millions of dollars more for your investment portfolio, then it probably is very important to you.

Also, if you believe in a social safety net for all the people, including Social Security, and believe that we are giving away too much of our national wealth to the very rich and it is short-sighted to look at this in any way except a long lens, then you may be opposed.

It depends on where you are presently sitting.
