with new lyrics ...."Who'll Stop the oil" sung by a megan kelly twin. The whole song plays into the right wing Hannity/Rush/Beck narrative that Obama refuses to stop the oil.....refusing help, not deploying man power and resources and all the other lies packed nicely into what one would expect to see on SNL or something....How low will these dirty f'rs go ?

John Fogerty sadly sold off the rights to this song to Fantasy Records a very long time ago and had this to day about what has been down with it since..

Fogerty objected to what he regarded as a misuse of his music in an NPR interview:

Folks will remember Forrest Gump and that was a great movie, but they don't remember all the really poor movies that Fantasy Records stuck Creedence music into: car commercials, tire commercials. I'm remembering a paint thinner ad at one point, the song "Who'll Stop The Rain." Oh, boy. That's clever, isn't it?<4>
